Cadillac V-Series Escalade Coming Soon to Bob Moore Cadillac of Norman

Cadillac has added yet another vehicle to their long line of V-series cars with possibly their most recognizable model, the Cadillac Escalade. The Cadillac Escalade-V will be the first SUV to earn the V-series badge, and will release in late 2022 to a ton of excitement after its grand reveal earlier this year. The first-look at the Escalade-V spoke a lot to its potential as the next great model to be a member of the V-Series family. The Escalade itself is already one of Cadillac’s most popular models, and its massive size with its distinctive features has made it a huge success for over twenty years of production. Cadillac brings the Escalade to the next level of greatness with the additional option of its V-series model, and everyone at Bob Moore Cadillac of Norman couldn’t be more excited for a closer look.

History of the V-Series

The V-Series is a specialized, high-performance version of Cadillac models that have been a part of the brand since 2004. V-Series vehicles are a part of General Motor’s push to reach a wider audience in the United States with Cadillac cars and SUVs. The lineup pulls traditional Cadillac favorites and adds in several features that push each model’s performance and luxury. The first-ever Cadillac to don the V-Series badge was the CTS, a sedan featuring a GM LS V8 Engine, larger shocks and larger anti-roll bars. There have been several additional models with high-performance modifications over the last several years, each with its own unique features and additions. The CTS has been released in several different iterations as a V-Series vehicle, including the first-ever V-Series wagon, a huge departure from the usual sports cars and sedans.

The Newest V-Series Badge

The latest addition to the V-Series family is the Escalade-V, and is the first ever SUV to wear the V-Series badge. Cadillac throws its hat into the ring of several other high-performance luxury SUVs, competing directly with brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Range Rover, and several other brands from both Europe and the United States. The reveal of the Escalade-V piggybacks on the release of the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, and it’s rumored to have a similar engine. As it’s the first of its kind as well as an unlikely candidate for the V-Series badge, the Escalade-V is a highly anticipated release coming later on in 2022.

The Escalade Family

The Cadillac Escalade is easily one of the automaker’s most recognizable vehicles, and the Escalade-V pushes its notoriety to an entirely new level. While we don’t know a ton about the vehicle, there is a general notion that the level of luxury is going to be higher than ever before seen within a Cadillac. The exterior of the vehicle features a massive front sports grille, unique wheels, and red caliper breaks which are likely from Brembo, which has been a huge part of the V-series line in past vehicles. A full look at the Escalade-V is coming later on this spring, with the model being released in late 2022.
