The Cadillac Lyriq burst onto the scene in 2023, and since its release, it’s spawned several new EV SUVs in Cadillac’s arsenal. For 2026, instead of Cadillac adding a new EV SUV, they’ve added to the Lyriq’s lineup with a performance-oriented Lyriq-V. The Lyriq-V builds on the dual-motor configuration of the Lyriq Sport, adding horsepower, beefier brakes, summer tires, and a launch control feature. Every Lyriq is quick, but the new V-Series produces stomach-turning speed while still offering all the amenities you love and expect from the Cadillac SUV. 2026 Lyriq Charge Range and Performance
The Lyriq comes in three different powertrain configurations: the Luxury, the Sport, and the Lyriq-V. The Luxury is the base option, equipped with a single motor on the rear axle, making 340 horsepower. If you’d like some extra horsepower, a dual-motor, AWD set on the Sport makes 400 horsepower. Of course, the Lyriq-V leads the clubhouse with 615 horsepower. That’s not all the Lyriq-V offers, though, as the V package includes a lowered suspension with adaptive dampers, Brembo brakes, and a launch control system. All told, this version of the Lyriq sprints from 0 to 60 in 3.3 seconds. All motors are connected to GM’s Ultium EV battery, which has 102.0 kWh of capacity. Base models have 326 miles of range, while the Lyriq-V has 285 miles of range. At DC chargers, it can recover 86 miles of range in just 10 minutes of charging. It can also charge at level 2 home chargers as needed.
New Cadillac Lyriq Trim Levels and Features
The Lyriq has two rows of seating and 28 cubic feet of cargo space in the rear, making it plenty spacious for daily driving. If you fold the rear row, the capacity increases to 60.8 cubic feet. This year, the Lyriq is available in the following eight trim levels:

It’s hard to go this far about the Lyriq without mentioning the display screen, stretching 33 inches from the driver’s pillar to the center of the dashboard. It’s equipped with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Other standard features of note include a 19-speaker AKG stereo system and a wireless phone charger.
